Dr. Kelly Kessler
Principal

Dr. Kessler began her career in education as a sixth-grade teacher in the York Suburban School District. She later served as a Secondary Math Coach in the West York Area School District before joining the Dallastown Area School District as assistant principal at the middle school. These experiences have shaped her belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and continuous learning are the foundation of a successful school community.

She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Millersville University, completed her principal certification through Shippensburg University, and earned her Doctor of Education degree from Immaculata University in 2018.

Dr. Kessler enjoys working alongside students, staff, and families each day and believes that every child deserves an educational experience that meets their unique strengths and needs. She is committed to supporting teachers through meaningful professional learning and creating opportunities for all students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Outside of school, Dr. Kessler enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and their two children, Corinthia and Zachariah. She is active in her church, loves staying active through fitness classes and recreational sports, and is a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She considers it a privilege to serve the Loganville-Springfield community and looks forward to another wonderful year of learning and growing together.

Mrs. Hirsch is beginning her fifteenth year in education and her fourteenth year at Loganville-Springfield. Previously, Mrs. Hirsch was the Intensive Learning Support teacher from 2013-2019 and then transitioned to the Academic Intervention Specialist prior to becoming the Assistant Principal. She was also the Lead Teacher at LSE during that time. Loganville-Springfield holds a very special place in Mrs. Hirsch’s heart, and she is excited to continue her journey at LSE in this next chapter as the Assistant Principal. 

She began her career in education by teaching fourth, fifth, and sixth grade learning support at Elizabethtown Area School District. Basketball is Mrs. Hirsch’s favorite sport, as she played in college at Juniata College while earning a dual bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education. Mrs. Hirsch continued her love of basketball while being an assistant coach at Elizabethtown College and then transitioned to coaching at York Catholic. She earned her master’s degree and principal certification from the University of Scranton.

Her free time is spent with her husband, Andrew, their two boys, Carson and Brooks, and their dogs. She is a lover of the mountains, sports, dogs, coffee, painting and drawing, crocheting, and reading. Mrs. Hirsch and her family are always on the move, and you can find them on the court, at the ball field or cheering on her favorite teams: Notre Dame football, Duke basketball, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!
