Dr. Kelly Kessler, Principal

Kelly Kessler  Dr. Kelly Kessler is beginning her fourth year as principal at Loganville-Springfield Elementary. 

She began her career in education by teaching sixth grade at York Suburban School District. She worked at West York Area School District as a Math Coach before coming to Dallastown as the assistant principal at the middle school. 

She earned both her bachelor's and master's degree from Millersville University and her principal certification through Shippensburg University. Dr. Kessler earned her doctoral degree from Immaculata University in 2018.

Her free time is spent with her husband, Todd and their two children, Corinthia and Zachariah.

Dr. Kessler is active in both church and athletics. As an avid sports fan, you can usually find her participating in fitness classes, playing a variety of sports and supporting her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Dr. Barbara Terroso, Assistant Principal

  Dr. Barbara Terroso is excited to serve both Loganville-Springfield and York Township Elementary Schools as the assistant principal.

She began her career teaching learning support, first grade, and fifth grade at Stewartstown Elementary School in the South Eastern School District. She then came to Dallastown Area School District where she has had the privilege of working in many roles including elementary IST, elementary principal, middle school learning support, middle school intervention specialist, and middle school assistant principal.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University in special education, master’s degree from Millersville University in elementary education, and principal certification and special education supervisory certification from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College). Dr. Terroso earned her doctoral degree from Immaculata University.

Her free time is spent with her husband, Ben, who is the Dean of Students at DAIS, their five children, Korrine, Aaron, Bryna, Sydney, and Avery, and their granddaughter Genevieve. Also, they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of two more grandchildren this school year.

Dr. Terroso enjoys officiating field hockey, watching her daughter play field hockey at Yale University, watching her son play volleyball at St. John Fisher College, and cheering on her favorite teams the Philadelphia Eagles and the Duke Blue Devils. She also enjoys working out, visiting new places, and spending time with family and friends.
